Meet the Farmers – Jeff & Tammy

At Pasture Valley Hens, we’re more than just egg farmers — we’re caretakers of the land and the animals who call it home.

Tammy has always had a deep love for animals, especially rescue animals, and a strong belief that farming should be done with heart, care, and purpose. Jeff brings quiet strength, years of hands-on experience, and a deep respect for the land.

Together, we’ve built a farm where every hen roams freely on open pastures, and every decision is guided by kindness — to our animals, our environment, and our community.

It's not an easy life but it's so worth it!

Whether we’re out checking fences, collecting eggs with our granddaughters, or giving belly rubs to our rescue Maremma's, we’re living our dream: building a sustainable farm that feeds people honestly, and gently cares for the land we love. Every day we learn something new.

We look forward to the day we welcome families, school children & individuals to the farm, where they can learn firsthand about ethical farming, sustainability, and where their food comes from.
