Meet The Farmer

Hello! I'm Tammy Osborne, a dreamer, a mother and the maker of Pasture Valley Hens. My ultimate goal is to ensure that every animal on our farm lives their "Happy Ever After" tale.

 

Growing up as the oldest of six children in a hardworking family, I learned the value of dedication and care from my parents, who worked tirelessly in the countryside. One of my fondest memories takes me back to the days when my sister Kerry and I, as little ones, would sneak rides on Dad's horse Dudley in the paddock while Mum drove him to work. These moments of innocent adventure shaped my love for living freely and cherishing simple joys.

 

Having spent my life caring for others in various roles, including in childcare, shearing sheds, cleaning, and cooking, I've always put my dreams on hold to ensure everyone else's well-being. But this year, my long-held dreams are finally taking flight as I embark on my journey in the picturesque Ban Ban Springs. Here, surrounded by ever-changing mountains, breathtaking sunrises, and awe-inspiring sunsets, my farm thrives with a goal of nurturing 1200 hens by January.

 

With our growing family of rescue Maremma's and our beloved Donkey, we aim to create a haven of peace and serenity amidst nature's beauty at our Home in Ban Ban Springs.
